The 24th Annual Cowboy Campmeeting

July 3-8, 2006

Location: Cowboy Campmeeting this year will be held at Goose Corrals, 29 miles Southeast of Dayton, WA.

Driving Directions: (Revised June 15 with great feedback from one of our members)(More details added on June 19) As you go through the Northeast end of Dayton, WA, on Hwy 12, turn Southeast on 4th St. (this is the turnoff to Bluewood Ski Area and is across from a gas station/food mart.) Go 1/2 mile and turn Left on Ekron or Skyline, both the same road, to the Cemetery. (Ekron/Skyline is the next left after Steve's Grocery.) Go about 15.4 miles on Skyline and turn Right on Road #4600 to Godman. (It is the right hand road of a "Y" and there is a monument in the middle of the two roads.) Godman Ranger Station is about 27 miles from Hwy 12 in Dayton. About 1/4 mile before you reach the Ranger Station, turn left down a hill on Road #4608. Stay on that road about 3.5 miles to Goose Corrals. We will have AHA signs for you to follow on the way in. Don't forget to fill up with gas in Dayton... this is your last chance.

What Is Cowboy Campmeeting? This is a 5-day event where we camp with our horses. Every morning and evening we have a Christian Worship time with lots of good pickin' and grinnin' and some great spiritual food. During the day we ride the trails. All in all, it's a fun time of being out in God's Country with our friends (that's you), our horses and our God. Why don't you come?

Highlights: Our speakers this year are Doug Versteeg and George Gainer (We will have more information on each of them in a few weeks.) We will have lots of good Blue Grass Gospel music with our own Cowboy Campmeeting band.
